Mexico has citizens always coming into the United State legally or not legally. What the American People and our Government want is Mexican Citizens to come to the United States LEGALLY. Mexico's economy is no where near that of the United States or Canada. But, Mexico is a country that has great prospects to become prosperous by selling their natural resources to the United States and Canada. It was touching to see that after hurricane Katrina damaged the United States of America, the Mexican Government sent their military to Texas to help the survivors of Katrina by bringing disaster supplies.
Many U.S. and Canadian Citizens go to Mexico on vacation, and some live in retirement communities in Mexico.... Mexico is a country of Strategic importance to North America. This is true especially in the WAR against the illegal drugs that come from some of the South American countries. Mexico has many natural resources that could benefit the United States and Canada, they only need to sell through N.A.F.T.A. ( North American Free Trade Agreement ).... But, this is up to the Mexican Government. Mexico is a Third World country for most of their population.
The U.S. and Canadian investments that could be made in Mexico's economy is important. The United States could sell Products Good and Services to Mexican citizens, if they would in turn sell their natural resources such as Natural Gas and Sweet Lite Crude Oil. The United States, Canada, and Mexico could benefit through such Trade between our Borders.
